A married fitter from Birkenhead who drove to the ground with two friends, one of whom, Thomas Fox, was also killed that day. He is a former vestry member of St. Philips Episcopal Church in Coral Gables, FL and board member of St. Philip's Episcopal School. The retired chief superintendent, 75, denied the charge. His son, also Thomas, was another victim of the tragedy.
